On a recent visit to the Univ. of Hawaii in Honolulu on March 13, 2015, Delta Phi Alpha president, James Davidheiser, paid a visit to DPA chapter advisor Dr. Christina Gebhardt. They discussed the growing German program on the UH campus and DPA’s role in advocating for students. Dr. Gebhardt had applied for and received a chapter grant in the recent past and used it to sponsor a German film series. Davidheiser encouraged her to have her students apply for scholarships to study in Germany which she plans to do. They also discussed further ways in which the Univ. of Hawaii and Delta Phi Alpha could work together to strengthen German studies.
