Delta Phi Alpha Sponsors Speakers at SUNY Oswego

The Delta Phi Alpha chapter at SUNY Oswego recently offered to presentations sponsored by Delta Phi Alpha. The first involves two guest presentations on 16-17 February by Prof. Leroy Hopkins on Afrodeutsche and the contributions of  Africans to German culture and society.  One presentation was delivered in a course on the culture of German-speaking countries; the other was a public lecture drawing faculty, students and the public into attendance.  Prof. Hopkins also met separately with Delta Phi Alpha members.

The second involves presentations by Prof. Michael Baxter of De Paul University on 23-24 March.  He spoke in the same venues described for the first speaker.  His topic was the Austrian Resistance during the Nazi occupation of Austria.
