DPA Sponsors Frühlingsfest at Sewanee

On Saturday, March 7, 2015, Sewanee’s German department and the campus Delta Phi Alpha chapter hosted Frühlingsfest, the Tennessee AATG’s annual competition and celebration of student achievements. High school students from Nashville, Cleveland, Knoxville, and Kingsport showed their knowledge of German language and culture in events throughout the day. The event ran smoothly thanks to the help of the teachers and chaperones from each school, graduate students from Vanderbilt, and Sewanee students. The chapter grant from Delta Phi Alpha was used to purchase t-shirts for student volunteers and to offset the cost of lunch for teachers and graduate students.
